1966 Chevrolet Nova Custom

In the world of custom cars, you have the best and then you have the rest. The "rest" is comprised of 95% of the cars out there that probably start out as big ideas that fizzle as hobbyists realize the staggering costs of constructing such a machine. The top 5% are built without cost in mind, and turn out exactly how they were conceived. They are finished as completed concepts and not a series of compromises.

This 1966 Chevy Nova was constructed on a cost-is-no-object basis, and built to incredible show standards. The car features a full custom chassis complete with full tubs and a chassis-length cage. The undercarriage is beautifully detailed in the same bright red paint as the top of the car. The front section of the chassis is equipped with rack and pinion steering, disc brakes, and nice chrome accents. The rear end has a 4-link set up hooked to a 9" rear with 3.70 locker gears.

The Chevy features a built 383 stroker motor with Trick Flow heads and a custom built 750 CFM carb. This baby rips! The engine sits in one of the more detailed engine compartments that we've seen in quite some time. The engine breathes through a set of Hooker Competition headers that flow out through a 3" exhaust in the back. What an exhaust note this Nova has! Keeping everything at 180 degrees is a heavy duty radiator and a Spal fan. Feeding the engine through high end braided lines with aero fasteners is a Super Flow performance fuel pump and filter. It sits in the trunk, which of course has also been detailed to the nines.

The interior has over 10k invested in custom panels, the dash, custom covered seats, etc... All the pieces flow together and the craftsmanship is what you want to see.

The car is loaded with high end fasteners and lines everywhere you look. Everything is expertly assembled, fabricated and the build just oozes quality in every nook and cranny. The Nova has just 1000 test miles since it was completed last year and is fully sorted and ready for the show circuit or the strip.
