Comprehensively built from the ground up, this 1967 GT390 is a fully restored vehicle complete with all of the build receipts and hundreds of build photos.

Originally scheduled to be built on March 28th, of 1967 this stunning GT390 was originally sold by Schulte Ford Sales in Burnie, Maryland. The car is a high option vehicle from the factory loaded with the following accesories:

  • GT Equipment Group
  • C-6 Select-Shift Cruise-O-Matic
  • Limited Slip Differential
  • F-70-14 Wide Oval Tires
  • White Sidewall Nylon Tires
  • Console
  • Deluxe Steering Wheel
  • Sport Deck Rear Seat
  • Power Steering
  • Air Conditioner – Selectaire
  • AM Radio
  • Exterior Decor Group
  • Interior Decor Group
  • Tinted Glass
  • Deluxe Seat Belts
  • Tachometer and Trip Odometer

The restoration was completed in 2010 and the car has sparsely driven and kept in show condition since it was finished. The Mustang was taken down to a bare metal shell during the process, and after extensive long blocking, it was refinished in its factory correct Acapulco Blue with a brand new and also correct Blue interior with the Decor package. All the trim, chrome and glass is new and in excellent shape. The undercarriage which is highly detailed is finished in the correct Red Oxide primer finish.

All of the suspension and brake parts are new from front to rear on the car and it has a nice, tight feel out on the road. The engine, transmission and rear end are also completely rebuilt and operate as they should. Electrically, all of the wire is new and the gauges are completely rebuilt with a new chrome bezel. The power rolls on nicely under acceleration and the car has no trouble breaking the tires loose in true muscle car fashion.

With an appraisal for over 85k that accompanies this Mustang, the investment potential of this car is, shall we say "obvious." It’s not likely that the Mustang enthusiast will find a nicer and more highly documented GT Fastback.
