Our consignment philosophy is simple:

We spend countless hours every week talking to car people we know, car people we've just met, and all their friends that they bring by our facility. While we are doing this we would be happy to represent your car to these fine fans of the hobby. We'll give you our view as to what we think it will bring, and then get you that number.

In the mean time, we'll field all of the questions, take photos, write copy, make ads, answer emails, take phone calls, accommodate inspectors, shippers, and arrange all title work after the sale. Selling a car can be a hassle. Let us take care of all the legwork so you can get on with your life.

To reach the largest number of potential buyers, we advertise on several websites with broad, international audiences. Your vehicle will be featured, with no associated advertising cost, on:

If you would like to more aggresively market your vehicle, we use and recommend the following resources, amoung others, which do have some associated cost.

For our consignment services, we charge 10 % of the final sales price, plus any paid advertising which you have agreed to.

After the sale, should you want a keepsake of your vehicle, ask about our special consignment pricing on our Autographs.

Consignment F.A.Q.
Q. Does Classic Car Studio set the sale price, or do I (the owner)?
A. Before we accept a vehicle on consignment, the sale price is agreed upon by both parties (the owner and Classic Car Studio). If we do not think we can acheive the figure you would like, we will give you our opinion as to what we think a fair market price of the vehicle is, and continue from there.

Q. What if Classic Car Studio is unable to sell my car?
A. Markets on cars can fluctuate with time, and if, for some reason, we are unable to sell your car for the original, agreed upon price, we can either discuss lowering the price, or taking the vehicle off of the market and relisting it at a later date.

Q. Does my car have to stay at Classic Car Studio during consignment?
A. While consigning your car, it is best to leave it at our facility so that potential buyers have an opportunity to look at the car in person, and we have the car present to answer any in-depth or specific questions.

Q. How much does it cost to store my vehicle at Classic Car Studio if I do want to leave it there?
A. If you would like to leave your vehicle at Classic Car Studio during consignment, indoor, climate controlled storage is free!

Q. What if I still owe money on my vehicle?
A. No problem - after the vehicle sells, we can work with your lender to pay off your loan and obtain a lean-release in order to provide the new owner with a free and clear title.
