Finished in Red over a black interior, this 1973 Chevy K30 has had a complete frame-off restoration back to better than new condition. We’ve not seen another one that was done this nice, but if you have, we encourage you to buy that one instead. No hard feelings.

The truck underwent a bare-metal refinish with and has very straight panels. This is not such an easy task on big long bedsides, but if you sight down there, you’ll be pleased. The paint is a base/clear finish with a thoroughly sanded and buffed finish. It’s show quality and is free from the orange peel that plagues new cars. During the restoration, the frame was media blasted and the undercarriage was restored to the same quality as the top of the truck. You could eat dinner off of it, or you could just admire the beauty. Either way, it’s showroom sharp.

The engine is a 454 built to around 450 HP. The gas and air are mixed in a Demon 850 CFM carb and the motor exhales through a set of coated Hooker headers. The exhaust is a polished stainless system with a crisp exhaust note.  The motor runs cool and uses a serpentine set up in the front to run the accessories.

The tranny is an SM465 hooked to s 205 transfer case. The front differential is a 10 bolt and the rear is a 14 bolt. All of the brakes and suspension components have been rebuilt, and truck uses a Pro Comp shock kit. The truck rides on Fuel wheels, and BFG tires. Out on the road, the truck is easy to drive for all with the power steering and power brakes.

The interior features custom door panels, a rebuilt and recovered seat, and all new carpeting. The gauges have been switched over to an Autometer setup and you’ll stay cool in the cabin with ice-cold AC. The factory stereo has been replaced with a modern Pioneer unit with Bluetooth capability.
