This 1976 Toyota FJ40 is a complete frame-off restoration using high-quality Toyota parts! The truck has 110,000 original miles and just a little under 10k on the restoration. It has a killer look and can be driven reliably!
The build uses the factory 2F engine, 4-speed transmission, transfer case, and differentials. The 2F was completely rebuilt and runs like a top. The cooling system, fuel system, and all of the lines and hoses have been replaced with new components. The transmission, transfer case, and differentials have also been rebuilt. The truck rolls on 37’s and has 5:29 gears. The front differential uses ARB air lockers and the rear has a Detroit locker. The truck is equipped with power steering, power brakes and is very easy to drive! The engine runs like a top and any replacement parts are genuine Toyota, not aftermarket.
The front bumper is an ARB catcher’s mask front bumper, Metal Tech cage, and an Aqualu ¾ aluminum tub which has been Linexed.
This is a proper US, FJ build that can be driven reliably or off-roaded.
