The Yenko Super Camaro was a modified Chevrolet Camaro originally prepared by Yenko Chevrolet. When the Camaro debuted, a General Motors corporate edict prevented it from carrying an engine larger than 400 CI. This restriction put the Camaro at a serious disadvantage against big block equipped Ford Mustang and Plymouth Barracuda, however, Don Yenko knew there was a market for an ultra powerful Camaro and began shoehorning the Hi-Po 427 CI big block motor into the engine compartment.
Finished in Grotto Blue over a Black interior, this gorgeous 1969 Yenko Tribute is ready to blast down the road. The powerful and snappy 427 7.0 liter big-block makes this Camaro the perfect muscle car for autumn driving. Just like the original SYC, the Camaro is equipped with a 4 speed transmission and an aggressive 4.10 Posi, which launch the Camaro off the line and out from the depths of tight corners. The front power disk brakes grab very nicely and the sub-frame connectors really stiffen up the uni-body under acceleration. This classic runs cool and reliably and is at home on the strip, or, hugging turns on your favorite back roads.
