The hereditary beneficiary of perhaps the most influential minds in automotive design and engineering in U.S. automotive history, the C3 Chevrolet Corvette represents for many, the last great Corvette, and among the most collectible and sought after cars on the market today.
Finished in red over a crisp black interior, this 1975 Chevy Corvette was treated to a nut and bolt, frame off restoration just 4000 short miles ago. The results speak for themselves and the show quality work is evident everywhere you look. Great effort was made to restore the car "correctly" and the restorer nailed it in the engine compartment with all the correct hoses, fasteners, lines etc.. The original matching numbers engine was bored .30 over during the rebuild and makes very nice power with subtle yet tough sounding exhaust note. A drive around the block exudes high build quality. The car is tight, handling is crisp and the the car has a high quality factory fresh feel. The car was originally a bluish gray, but up one night considering the high cost of restoration, the owner felt that if he was going to spend the big bucks, the car was going to have to be finished in a color that he really liked-red.
Fit and finish is excellent on both the interior and the exterior. The doors and hood close with a preciseness only found in high quality restorations and the paint has been properly maintained and really shines. We found a very small stress crack at the bottom of the passenger side front fender while inspecting the car up on a lift, however, the rest of the fiberglass is very nice. The undercarriage is clean and spotless and shows off a beautifully refinished frame, and clean, new suspension components.
If you are looking for a turn key, drivable show car for the Spring, look no further than this gorgeous Vette. The car is selling for a fraction of the restoration cost and comes fully sorted and ready for the strip or the green.
