This beautiful custom 1969 Chevelle was treated to a rotisserie, frame off restoration and has seen just over 300 test miles. The most striking part of the car is of course the paint job, which is immediately followed by how nice the totally rust free, laser straight body is. The paint has been wet sanded to a gleaming, neck snapping, show stopping finish. People with giant grins will clap and cheer as you drive by – yes… this really happens.
The motor is a pro-built 454 bored .30 over. That’s 462 cubic inches that sounds downright threatening when it’s blasted through a 3" exhaust. The engine is balanced and blue printed and has fully ported 781 oval port heads with SS valves and roller rockers. The cam has a 533 lift, the carb is a 750 Holley, and and MSD distributor give a nice spark. The engine compartment is loaded with billet and chrome accessories and the aluminum radiator has a custom shroud finshed in…you guessed it…yellow. The car is a runner and begs you to light up those Nitto tires. This info comes with a warning that the powers-that-be may ticket you for such actions, right after they ask you, "what’s under the hood?"
Of course all of the suspension components are brand new and the engine is hooked up to a freshly built Muncie M-22 Rock crusher transmission which feeds into a 12 bolt posi rear end. During the restoration, the entire frame was powder coated black which will give it a very hard, enduring finish that’s easy to clean, maintain and won’t chip away like paint tends to do. The Chevy has power steering, power brakes, and lets not forget the perfect-fit AC system.
Lots of attention was given to the interior which has custom stitched front and rear seats, race harnesses, a custom center console, a carbon fiber dash and brand new carpeting to boot. The trunk is also finished off, which compliments the interior nicely.
