This 1935 Henry Ford steel 3-Window is a gorgeous, street-proven rod that was the Jan 2011 Feature car in Rod & Custom magazine. The Ford shows wonderfully, yet can be driven comfortably on long trips, cruises, or wherever you’re headed. This all-steel Ford has serious street credentials and will send the boys with glass cars running for the hills.
The heart of the 3-Window is a 350 crate engine with MSD electronic ignition, an Edelbrock carburetor and a Weiand intake. Moving the fumes are a set of coated block-hugger headers and dual 2 1/2 inch FlowMaster exhaust. Sitting atop the carb is a stylish 1950 Cadillac air cleaner and the valve covers are Lincoln Y-block units. Keeping things cool is Griffin radiator with a custom aluminum shroud. The driveline consists of a 350 Turbo transmission with a deep pan, B&M cooler and shift kit. The rear end is a Ford 9"(DM housing) with Moser axles, and 3.50 posi gears.
Providing a sweet ride is a Heidt’s Super Ride II, rack-and-pinion front end with power disc brakes. The rear end is a 4-link set up with Carrera coil overs and 11" drums. The car handles great and is built to be used and enjoyed. The modern suspension provides the comfort and handling to use the Ford us you please.
The tastefully appointed interior features retro-look Autometer gauges, an Ididit steering column, Lokar gas and brake pedals and Lokar shifter. The main attraction is a beautifully sculpted 1956 Oldsmobile dash painted in body color. Turn on the lights and all of the gauges illuminate the dash to a brilliant glow. The interior is lined with Dynamat and features a Kenwood CD player with Infinity speakers, JBL amp, and JL sub. The seats are power units and the Ford has a nicely done rear seat set up.
Maybe you should consider ditching your boring daily driver permanently?? In fact, if you don’t promise to drive and enjoy this awesome Ford, we won’t sell it to you. Seriously.
