Finished in Laser Blue Metallic over a totally custom leather interior, this 1955 Ford F100 has just over one thousand test miles. The Ford was built for the show circuit and is also an excellent driving ride with the ability to take on long trips in comfort. The paint and custom paint touches include beautifully air brushed lightening bolts and custom stripping with hand pin-striped borders. The hood is a custom front-tilt unit which operates perfectly. The level of detail is incredible and the truck has a striking finish that really pops with just a small amount of light. Seeing the F100 in bright sunlight is truly impressive!
Powered by an LT1 attached to a 700 R4 automatic transmission with overdrive, the Ford is an easy starting, smooth driving truck. The F100 can be run at highway speeds all day long, and with the versatile transmission, is able to maintain nice pickup (no pun intended) around town. The LT1 has electronic ignition, Edelbrock headers, a polished pulley set and a Magnaflow exhaust. The Magnaflow exhaust exits through a set of Lexus exhaust tips that have been built into the roll pan at the rear of the truck. The rear end unit is a Ford 9" with 373 Posi gears, and 28 spline Moser axles. The Ford rides on 18" chrome wheels in the front and 20" chrome wheels in the rear with Pirelli tires all around.
The interior of the truck is beautifully appointed and is complete with custom seats, custom door panels, and a custom headliner. The dash has been polished out to the same brilliant sheen as the exterior of the truck and is fitted with custom Dolphin gauges with chrome trim rings. The seats have snake skin inserts which match the very subtle snake skin air brush fade on the front center part of the hood. The bed has tubbed wheel housings and the bed floor has been painted and polished to a near mirror finish. Housed inside the bed rails is a set of LED brake lights which really clean up the rear and are barely noticeable until you hit the brakes. Housed in the center console is an Eclipse head unit that pumps the tunes through 4 speakers in the cab of the truck. Providing icy cool air is a Vintage AC system complete with electronic controls that are neatly tucked away in the glove box. The steering column is a tilt unit from Ididit with a chrome shifter.
This truck has an incredible amount of custom work and is being offered well below what she would cost you to build build. Don’t sit on your hands for this one, because she’s not going to be here for long.
