This 1954 Ford F100 custom underwent a frame off restoration and is finished in brilliant red over a tan custom interior. The F100 has just under 4,000 miles since the restoration giving it time to be fully sorted-out and obtain the type of reliability that one would expect from a modern vehicle. The truck has a tried and true drive train and numerous body modifications giving it a high end look and pleasant driving characteristics.

The body of the Ford is all steel including the hood and features a cab that has a 3" chop with a front leaning rake to give it the correct look. The job on the top is excellent and the work looks factory. The vents on the truck have been shaved as have the door handles and the fuel filler. The work is very slick and high quality. The doors operate off a remote that hangs on the key chain, but fear not – there is a secret manual pull in case that you lock yourself out. The windows are now single panel units with updated cranks and new custom glass. Operation is excellent in their new shortened form and so is the fitment. The bed is a professionally constructed hand made piece with shapely hand crafted tubs and a custom wood bed. We usually see this type of work done in glass, but this rock star is all steel from stem to stern. The bed is custom built from wood and there is even a wood hatch that lifts up for fuel top-off. At the rear of the bed is a custom tail gate and right below the tail gate sit some very nice custom tail lights. The steel hood has been updated with a forward tilt feature and the inner fenders and firewall have both been smoothed for that extra clean appearance.

The drive train of the Ford is a Vortec Crate engine hooked up to a Turbo 350 transmission. The motor has a serpentine belt system, Edelbrock intake, Edelbrock carb, electronic ignition, and hi-po fuel pump. The front end of the truck is a Chevelle sub-frame that has a nice new shiny finish and the rear end is 4 link with coil overs. The Ford has disc brakes all the way around and the master cylinder is mounted under the truck to keep the fire wall extra clean. The truck has a smooth ride and cruising down the highway is no problem with the gearing set up. The transmission pops off smooth shifts and the engine has a nice note that doesn’t drone on long trips.

The interior has been professionally finished and has a lot of leg room for a pick up. The seat and the steering column are both adjustable and the feel is great. The Ford has custom door panels, a custom headliner and custom cut carpeting. A trick set of VDO gauges adorn the dash and let’s not forget about the ice cold AC the pumps out of the vents.

Nicely done F100s rarely sit long – don’t miss your opportunity to enjoy this drivable showable custom Ford.
