This pro-built 1932 Ford is constructed using a Brookville steel roadster body and full custom chassis. The Ford has just over 1,400 since completion and is a beautiful show car.
Built on a custom-boxed chassis with tubular cross bracing, the Ford rides on a solid work of structural art. The fabrication quality is excellent and the chassis has been smoothed and painted to match the gorgeous steel body. There are some really nice fiberglass cars out there, but steel is really the way to go. The problem lies in the fact that a really nice Henry Ford steel car is going to put you over six figures. Enter the Brookville body with its excellent fit and more palatable price point. This pro-built car has been body worked and painted like the best of them and looks as slick as can be finished in orange over tan. The car features licensed Ford headlights and sweet hand pin striping all the way around.
The interior is laid out in custom upholstery and nicely done custom carpeting. The seat, door panels and carpeting are all hand stitched and the fit is great. The single bench is comfortable for longer drives and the polished column, Lokar shifter and Lokar pedals offer nice contrasting touches. Auto Loc gauges keep you well informed and sit in a trick housing. The original type windshield is all chrome with a nice sheet of perfect glass dead center.
Powering the Ford is a 406 CI stroker motor with a built Turbo 350 and a Moser 9" rear end. The motor has a Comp cam, Weber carb, polished intake, ceramic coated headers, electronic ignition, polished alternator and and finished with a set of finned valve cover and finned air cleaner. The Turbo 350 has a 2,600 stall and Moser Ford 9" has 3.55 posi gears out back. The combination makes for an excellent around-town slot car, and an great highway cruiser. The suspension has all polished components and the 4 link in back keeps things rock solid under hard acceleration.
Offering up high quality in a reliable package is hard to argue with. Throw in a reasonable price to sweeten the pot and we should have some takers.
