The last year for the C2 "Mid Year" bodystyle, 1967 saw subtle revisions in the Corvette’s styling and performance offerings that arguably make the 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Sting Ray the highwater mark for the C2.

Assembled in the St. Louis, MO plant on Friday, September 23, 1966, this 1967 Corvette is the recipient of a restoration performed in the late 1990’s. The car has been lightly driven, enjoyed, and maintained since, and remains in very good condition. During the restoration, the Corvette was refinished in its correct Goodwood Green (983), however, the restorer opted for a black interior over the car’s original Saddle Vinyl (420). The ‘Vette’s paint has aged well and remains in great condition overall, showing only an occasional crack, chip, or wear point. Likewise, the chrome is bright, without scratches, fading or pitting. The car features a black soft top which is also in very good condition, without any rips or tears, or fogging or yellowing of the rear window.

The Corvette’s driveline features a 327 CI V8 that is non-original to the car, but features a "3959512" rough casting, as well as a "CE9B31839" stamping on the pad. This rough casting and CE stamping correlate to a ’62-’67 service/warranty replacement block, which were usually rebuilt to the specifications of the engine being replaced. The 327 breathes through a set of Hedman headers to the sidepipes and produces a healthy exhaust note. A 4-speed manual transmission moves you through the gears, and the car drives out and handles nicely, turning heads wherever she goes.

If you are looking for a drivable and showable Sting Ray convertible in the most desirable year, give us a call – this striking 1967 ‘Vette is a great option.
