This 1970 Chevy C10 is clean restomod full of modern updates and features. This recent restoration is clean as a whistle from top to bottom and ready to roll.
The body of the truck was a bare metal refinish and was redone is a gorgeous burgundy metallic two stage. You’ll find new fasteners, body bushings, and seals. Other nice cosmetic details include all new stainless trim, all new chrome, and new glass and lenses throughout. The bed features a thick poly finish on the wood and all new polished stainless trim.
While the body and bed were off, the frame was media blasted, refinished and set back up with all new brake and suspension components from front to rear. The 4 wheel disc brakes and power master cylinder set up come from CPP and bring the C10 to a quick stop. The new stance comes via lowering springs and dropped spindles and is a nice compromise between the stock height and laying frame on the ground.
The particularly clean interior uses one of the killer new leather kits from TMI. Custom panels cover the dash, door panels and seat, with a red stitch to match the exterior of the truck. Replacing the stock gauges are a nice set of the new Dakota Digital gauges line. Their timeless look and smooth operation have been very popular in the aftermarket the last few years.
Pop the hood and you’ll find more high gloss metallic burgundy paint and a 5.3 LS with Dirty Dingo brackets for the Old Air Products AC and alternator. The exhaust flows through a set of stainless headers into dual Magnaflow mufflers. The transmission is a 4l60 and cruises out very well on the highway with the overdrive, and the posi 12 bolt grips well off the line.
For the C10 enthusiast, this truck offers the best of the old and the best of the new.
