With the aging Fox body due for a redesign and the next generation Mustang release a year out, Ford turned to its SVT to freshen up the Fox body for one last hoorah. The Fox Body Cobra run consisted of just under 5000 cars available in either Black, Red, or Teal. With enhancements ranging from increased HP, 4 wheel disc brakes and body modifications, the cars looked sharp and were a nice finish to the line.
Fox Body’s are one of the most modified/upgradable out there it’s very hard to find a nice original one. Finished in Teal Metallic over a cloth interior, this 1993 Mustang Cobra has traveled just over 27,000 miles since new. It is in excellent rust free condition, comes with a clean CarFax, and has all of its body stickers intact. The only modifications done to this car are a cold air intake and a FlowMaster exhaust. The correct air filter components are included in the trunk of the car.
The interior is in excellent original condition, and free from any sun-damaged plastic parts or fading. It looks like the interior of a one or two-year-old car and is in remarkable condition throughout.
The car runs, handles and drives as these did when they were new. It’s quick, it feels tight and it is an overall blast from the past. If you are looking to get one for the first time, or get back in the saddle after years on the bench, this car is a wonderful example.
Accompanying the car are the original books, original spare/jack, and the original air cleaner and tubes are in the trunk.
For the Ford enthusiast looking for a Mustang with excellent long-term investment potential, this Cobra will only appreciate with time.
