This 1955 Chevrolet 3100 is a stunning traditional custom that has had a complete rotisserie restoration. The truck is finished to higher standards than were ever available in a 1955 production truck. Post restoration, the truck has less than 400 test miles and is presented in immaculate condition. The truck was a Top 25 at the Tri-Five Nationals in 2019 and was a Street Rodder top 100 pick.
The paint is a show quality two-stage applied over a bare-metal refinish. The bodywork is excellent and straight It’s been sanded flat to remove all texture and buffed to a high-quality shine. The bed has been narrowed to accept a wider rear tire and is finished in Oak with white trim. All of the glass and trim is new from front to rear, as is all of the body rubber.
During the restoration, the chassis was stripped and finished in a very clean semi-gloss. All suspension components have been rebuilt, and all of the chassis hardware is new. The brakes are rebuilt and have been converted to a power front disc set up. All other brake components are brand new.
The engine is a Chevy crate 350/290 HP and connects to a Muncie 4 Speed, and the rear end an S10 unit.
The interior is finished as a traditional custom and has more of that gorgeous paint. The gauges have been rebuilt and all of the interior hardware is fresh. Take one look under the dash and everything is new and fresh!
