Chevrolet Chevelle

SOLD
  • Year: 1969
  • Make: Chevrolet
  • Model: Chevelle

Debuting in 1964, the Chevrolet Chevelle is arguably one of the most recognizable icons of the muscle car era, and among the numerous configurations available during the Chevelles 14 year run, none captured the soul and very essence of the automobile more than the 325 HP SS 396.

While the minority of Chevelles left the factory armed with a big block under the hood, fewer still carried with them any number of creature comforts made available by Chevrolet. Though prior to 1966 a Malibu badge represented the more aggressive drive train, Chevrolet soon recycled this popular name with more refined idea in mind. After 1965, and before assuming the model’s name entirely in 1978, the Malibu package represented the top trim level available for the Chevelle.

Assembled in Kansas City, Missouri, and originally sold by Du Teau Chevrolet in Lincoln, Nebraska, this striking Chevelle Malibu SS Sport Coupe features: Matching numbers 396 V8 Engine, Matching numbers 3-Speed Automatic Transmission, Factory 4-Season Air Conditioning, Positraction 331 Ratio Rear-end, Comfortilt Steering Wheel, Power Steering, Power Disc Brakes, Original Window Sticker and more.

There will be increasingly few such highly restored and correct big block Chevelles now or at any time in the future – the knowledgeable collector will leap at this opportunity to own a true SS car!
