Painted in factory correct Elkhart Blue over a fully restored black interior, this stunning 1967 Chevy Corvette Convertible underwent a complete and body off restoration that was completed in 2016. The Vette was built to be shown and was judged at a 2018 at a Bloomington Gold event and received a Bronze certification. The Chevy is documented by all of the restoration receipts as well as the original tank sticker!
The car has a solid option list including a vinyl covered removable hardtop, AM/FM radio, power brakes, and power steering.
Cosmetically speaking, the Chevrolet has restored chrome, restored stainless, and new paint throughout. The body was taken down the fiberglass and has all new bodywork and show quality paint. All of the rubber seals are new throughout as well as all of the rubber body bushings. The frame is highly detailed and showcases all restored suspension and brake components finished in the correct factory finishes. The convertible top frame is completely rebuilt and the soft top is new as of the restoration. All of the gauges have been rebuilt and function correctly and all of the wiring is new throughout.
When you open the engine compartment, it is highly detailed with the factory correct finishes, lines, hoses and decals. The engine is the potent L68 400 HP with Tri-Power carburetion. Although it’s not the original engine, great care was taken to source a date code correct block and heads plus restoration costs for the engine and engine components alone exceeded $25,000. The Muncie four speed, and rear suspension were also completely rebuilt.
The 1967 Corvette 427 4-speed convertible is highly detailed, recently serviced and would make an exceptional show car or a wonderful running driver.
