This 1963 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was modified in 2023 with the installation of a 6.2-liter LS3 V8, a four-speed automatic transmission, a replacement frame, and a coilover suspension. Additional work included a repaint in blue and the reupholstering of the seats, dashboard, door panels, and center console in tan leather. The car is further equipped with a removable hardtop, a beige soft top, 18 & 19″ Billet Specialties wheels, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, Penske coilovers, power steering, Borla mufflers, Vintage Air air conditioning, Classic Instruments instrumentation, an aftermarket stereo, and a Billet Specialties steering wheel and valve covers. This C2 convertible was purchased by the current owner in 2018 and is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Illinois title.
The fiberglass body is refinished in blue and features a matching hardtop and a replacement beige convertible soft top as well as flip-up headlamps, fender vents, quad tail lamps, chrome bumperettes, and dual exhaust tips that exit through the rear valance.
The 18 & 19″ Billet Specialties wheels are mounted with 215/45 front and 225/45 rear Michelin Pilot Sport All-Season tires. The car rides on a Roadster Shop Fast Track chassis and features Penske adjustable coilovers and Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners. Additional equipment includes a Wilwood brake master cylinder, power steering, and tubular control arms.
The cabin features two bucket seats reupholstered in tan leather, which extends to the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include color-coordinated carpeting, Vintage Air air conditioning, and an aftermarket stereo and wiring harness. The seller notes the interior features a Kicker amplifier and speakers with bluetooth connectivity.
A Billet Specialties steering wheel frames Classic Instruments instrumentation consisting of a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, voltage, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 473 miles. Total mileage is unknown.
The Chevrolet Performance 6.2-liter LS3 V8 was installed in 2023 and received an aftermarket ECU tune. It is equipped with Billet Specialties valve covers and an aluminum radiator.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 4L70-E four-speed automatic transmission and a Positraction differential. A TIG-welded stainless steel exhaust system with Borla mufflers is fitted.
