Muscle car collectors all have their preferences of course, but there can be little debate that high level cars break down easily into two basic categories: cars that are valuable because they have always been iconic and highly sought after, and cars which are valuable because for one reason or another there were always very few. This exceptionally well restored and fantastically attractive 1969 Ford Mustang GT Fastback was being fazed out in favor of the heavily marketed Mach 1 and as a result suffered from remarkably low production numbers.

So rare in fact that some enthusiasts are not even aware of its availability for 1969, this amazingly rare collectible has been nut and bolt rotisserie restored, has photographic documentation of the restoration process, Standard and Elite Marti Reports, and features factory options such as:

  • Original M code 8K16L dated 351cid 4bbl engine
  • 63B Sport Roof (1 of 5,958 from total production)
  • W5 Meadowlark Yellow Paint with black-out hood treatment
  • DA Black Clarion Knit Vinyl Hi-back Bucket Seats
  • GT Equipment Group (1 of 5,396 from total production)
  • Three-Speed Manual Transmission
  • Rocker Panel Moldings
  • Console
  • Am Radio
  • Interior Decor Group
  • Tinted Glass Complete
  • October 28 1968 production on schedule for 1969 model year
  • And much more.

This painstakingly restored GT Fastback is without question among the finest existing examples of this very, very rare 1969 GT Mustang. For the serious collector or savvy enthusiast there are likely to be few cars which are more investment worthy, and none which are finer.
