This beautifully built custom 1957 Chevy pick up is a show stopper with accolades nothing short of multiple Good Guy’s wins and best of show win at the World of Wheels in Phoenix. The truck was built over a 4 year period of time with over 600 hours devoted to the body and paint alone. All of the body work is custom including the phenomenally finished bed that is completely molded and totally seamless. The House of Kolors Tangelo Pearl paint is about as loud as it gets and will upstage any Hugger Orange car on the planet.

The engine is a 454 bored 30 over with a steel crank, double roller timing chain, Weiland oil pump, 8:1 compression, open chambered oval port heads, triple springs and a B&M Mega Blower running 9lbs of boost. It has enough horsepower to roast the tires all the way from your house to the nearest car show, but with your foot off the gas, she’s totally streetable and perfect for cruising night.

The transmission is a 700R4 built to handle the horsepower and touts a 2500 stall converter and a Hurst shifter. The rear end is a custom narrowed 9" packed with 4:11 posi traction gears and is hooked up to a custom ladder bar suspension with coil over shocks. The front end has a Camaro subframe with tubular control arms and coil over shocks. Steering is courtesy of a quick ratio GM power steering unit and the bushings are all poly.

The truck has 4-wheel SSBC power disc brakes that sit inside American Racing Torque Thrust II’s. The meat on the rear wheels is enough to crush the ego of an adult film star but nicely matched to the horsepower of the 454 and the blower.

The truck looks to be all show, but it was built to be driven. The last owner drove it to shows and and cruised it for fun and we suggest you do the same. If you like trick body work with heaps of horsepower on top, you’ll eat this truck up – but not before it eats everything else on the road first.
