This 1938 Ford 82A Standard Tudor Sedan was frame off restored to exact factory specifications and is an AACA National 1st Prize winner and recipient of the Dearborn Award. The car hails from a collection of very high condition Fords and is a wonderful showpiece.

All body work has been completed in metal and the car is totally rust and rot free and looks to have been a nearly rust free example prior to the restoration. The interior is correctly restored with the corderoy seat covers, hand painted wood grain dash, knobs, gauges, pedals, and handles. All chrome items have beautiful triple plate and all of the stainless has been straightened and polished to show condition. Everything is in perfect working order and all of the wiring is new, correct replacement XYZ wiring as seen on cars at all the major Concourse shows. The glass is in gorgeous condition and free of major scratches, pitting and all of the windows are in proper working order.

The undercarriage is very nicely detailed and features freshly refinished and painted metal surfaces and components. The engine compartment is also full of incredible detail featuring a freshly rebuilt flat head V8, connected to a rebuilt 3 speed manual. Open the trunk and there is an original, restored tool kit for the Ford.

The Ford has seen very little to no used since it acquired it’s National 1st place award, but in a quick spin around the block, it performed very well for our crew. Whether you are looking for a show car, a wonderful conversation piece or a fantastic car to enjoy on the roads, the acquisition cost of this Ford is just a drop in the bucket compared to the restoration cost of such a fine vehicle.
