This 1953 Ford F100 pick up is finished in show quality Tangelo Pearl paint with a Pearl White grill. The truck is an all steel hot rod with the exception of the glass hood and the glass lower front bumper section. She was treated to a frame off restoration a year back and has just over 1000 test miles since completion. Everything is either new or rebuilt, so you can drive straight from our shop to the nearest show.
The truck is equipped with a TCI, rack and pinion Mustang II style front end with SSBC disc brakes and front air ride. The rear end is a Ford 9" with dropped leafs and drums. The truck is a great riding cruiser that is at home both on the freeway and back roads. The Ford has buttery power rack and pinion steering and is a cinch to maneuver at slow parking lot speeds. The F100 is powered by a 302 crate engine attached to a T-5, 5-speed manual transmission. The Ford has plenty of get up and go that won’t leave you asking for more. The headers and the big exhaust system will let folk know to clear the way.
The interior is expertly appointed with the most comfortable hot rod seats in the industry – Tea’s, and custom door panels, carpeting and roof pad. The billet gauges display accurate readings and the billet pedals give a much upgraded feel compared to the stock controls. There’s a Flaming River steering column holding a very attractive and classically styled chrome Ford wheel – and, oh my… Don’t forget the highly detailed engine compartment.
In your dreams you may have thought that you could build one, but the reality of paying twice the asking price to buy all of the parts and have the custom work done probably has convinced you to buy the one that’s already done – this one!
