This 1965 Chevy Chevelle 300 is a show case of both beautiful craftsmanship and high end parts. The car was transformed from a 47,000 mile original car into an absolute masterpiece that has won its class four times at Super Chevy, and that doesn’t even include Best Chevelle, Editor’s choice and two Best Engine wins. The car is one of the highest detailed cars we’ve had the honor to represent and came to us with an undercarriage that is routinely waxed.

The engine is a balanced 427 with aluminum heads and about 450 horses. Everything imaginable under the hood has been either chrome plated or polished. The engine compartment absolutely gleams when you open up the hood and is so clean, we had trouble finding as much as a finger print on any of the shiny metal surfaced or the perfect red paint. The engine emits a tough sounding exhaust note through its ceramic coated headers and fully custom ceramic coated exhaust.

The transmission is a Richmond 5-Speed which puts power back to the Moser 12-Bolt rear end with 3.08 posi gears. Stopping the Chevy is a set of Wilwood 4-wheel power disc brakes and the the polished wheels are clad in a set of very nice Goodyear tires. The front end is set with with Global West tubular A-arms and QA1 shocks and the rear end is all Hotchkis with the same shocks as seen in the front.

The body work on the Chevelle is gorgeous and there isn’t a screw, nut or bolt on the car that doesn’t appear to be polished. The undercarriage is extremely detailed without evidence of a visible water spot. The interior is all custom with Autometer gauges, reclining bucket seats, a custom console, and custom touches everywhere you look.

The car was built with such great attention to detail that it really deserves to be viewed in person. Even the highest quality photos simply do not do it justice.
