Since 1930, Buick’s lineup was entirely "valve-in-head," straight-eight powered, and Buick was quick to adopt the design and styling trends coming from Harley Earl’s Art & Colour Department. 1941 brought new bodies for Buick’s Series 40 Special line including this stunning, 2 door, 5 passenger convertible.
A life long Texas car, the Buick has until recently never left the Lone Star state which has resulted in a rust free, beautifully preserved car. The floor boards are gorgeous and original to the car and the panels are free from any body filler or rust. The car has a thin coat of black paint on the undercarriage and absolutely no undercoating leaving a clear view of just how solid the undercarriage is.
The recipient of an older restoration, the Buick has since been restored and/or maintained where needed to preserve functionality along with originality. The car came to us from a large Texas collection and is a proven touring car with the ability to be driven regularly as you wish.
