This 1966 Chevy was the recipient of a two-year build with over 150k spent on parts and labor. Every part on the truck is new from front to back and the craftsmanship of the build is second to none.
The body on the truck was finished to show quality standards and exhibits tight gaps and laser straight panels. Look closely at the photos and you’ll notice that all of the seams have been welded and smoothed and many of the corners have been rounded off and filled. Flow between the panels and character lines is very nicely executed. The tail gate features a custom lower panel and the tail lights are recessed into the metal. The bed is held in with nice appointments of stainless hardware It’s a rare thing to find a pick up truck that is finished to this standard with such an incredible attention to detail.
The interior features a single-piece-bucket-set-up made specifically for the Chevy C10. The leather treatments on the interior are expertly hand stitched using very high quality hides covering the doors, headliner, A-pillar, seats, and the rear of the cab. The carpeting is custom cut and utilizes leather trim to finish off the edges. Modern Dolphin Gauges with chrome trim adorn the dash and it’s hard to miss the chrome Ididit steering column. All of the pedals, the window cranks and the door handles are by Lokar and we’re not sure who made those AC vents but they are incredible. The stereo has an old school look but uses modern internals and there are speakers located behind the seats. Additional creature comforts include an icy Vintage Air system with modern electric controls that have been mounted on the dash.
The heart of the truck is a 454 crate engine hooked up to a TH400 transmission. A set of billet March pulleys and brackets guides the belts that spin all of the accessories, and an aluminum radiator with a custom shroud and dual Spal fans keep things cool. Ceramic coated headers and a dual exhaust set up pipe out a nice exhaust note. All suspension components are brand new as are all of the brake components. The truck is a breeze to drive courtesy of power steering and power brakes.
