With a lineage of design and production longer and more distinguished than that of most other products of fine auto makers, the 560 SL owes much of its character to the carefully crafted and race inspired SLs which have fostered the mystique of Mercedes automobiles for several generations. In hindsight, the 560SL is a mechanical masterpiece built right before the overly-technical Mercedes automobiles that we see on the road today.
Finished in striking White over well cared for Grey leather interior, this increasingly uncommon icon of the eighties is well equipped with convertible top, removable hardtop, power steering, power brakes, A/C, 5.6 liter V8, and just over 50,000 original miles. The car has a beautifully kept interior with gorgeous seats that spent most of their lives under sheep skins. They are some of the nicest we have seen. Present are all of the books, the tool set, original spare and the jack. The car was a locally owned vehicle from the collection of a very particular collector that knows the value of proper vehicle care, making this car an excellent driver/investment.
For the SL enthusiast, this 560SL offers the perfect mix of everyday reliability combined with classic Mercedes lines and styling.
