This 1971 Chevy Camaro RS is very nice custom that incorporates the original uni-body of the Camaro with a full chassis. Finished in Corvette silver over a high end custom interior, the car has a great look, fantastic stance and a serious power plant/drive train combination.

The body of the Camaro underwent a full bare metal refinish and features shaved drip rails, Corvette door handles, a high rise fiberglass hood. The Camaro was built with a full custom chassis that incorporates a 4-link system and smoothed custom floor boards. The undercarriage looks as nice as the top, and the same super clean look was incorporated into the engine compartment of the car. All of the extra lines and wires have been neatly tucked away.

The nicely incorporated frame rides on a set of Air-Ride Shockwaves in the front and rear for a fully adjustable ride and a very aggressive looking stance. The car can be driven with a number of different suspension heights all made possible by the front custom wheel wells and the rear mini tubs. The car has very strong Wilwood brakes on all four corners and a trick Wilwood brake and clutch pedal set up. The rotors are drilled and slotted and the calipers are all fed by stainless lines. The handling is excellent as is the ride on both the street and on the highway.

The engine is a trick 355 small block which makes 10.5 to 1 compression and is equipped with a Lunati VooDoo cam, roller rockers and a Crower stack injection intake which has been converted to EFI and is controlled by a F.A.S.T computer and injectors. This small block really rips and the look is incredible. Snapping off quick shifts is a T56 6-speed transmission connected to Ford 9-inch rear end with 3.55 posi traction gears. The wheels are American Torque Thrusts that measure 18×7 in the front and 20×10 in the rear.

The interior of the Camaro is all custom and features Ultra-Leather with Ostrich inserts. The seats are from a late model Camaro and the dash board is styled after a mid year Corvette. The dash features all Autometer gauges and custom carbon fiber trim. The car has a deleted rear seat and custom center console which houses the shifter and the Air-Ride controls. The look is incredible.

People break their necks to catch a glance at the Camaro when it’s out and about. The look combines the best of new and old and the ride is pretty sweet if we might say.
