With a touch of luxury and plenty of big power, the GS was the Buick’s gentleman’s muscle car offering for 1970. By ordering the Stage 1 option, you could really step things up with a 360 HP 455 CI engine, low restriction dual exhaust and a performance axle with Posi traction.
This 1970 Buick is finished in Burnished Saddle with dark brown vinyl roof and Burnished saddle buckets. There a quite a few very nice survivor aspects about the car including a mostly original interior, what are believed to be original panels, and original floors that have not been undercoated. The car is a great driver for those looking to hit the road in a Muscle Car classic this summer and really put down some miles.
Original options include:
- A-1: Stage 1 Performance Option
- B-3 4-Speed manual transmission
- C-E C1 Power disc brakes
- C2 Power steering
- D-1 Sonomatic radio
- F-4 Super Wide Oval White Billboard tires
- L-2 Soft Ray tinted windshield
- U-5 Instrument group
- X-2 Rallye Steering wheel
There are Camaros and Chevelles aplenty, but nothing quite feels like a Buick, and these Stage 1 cars are few and far between.
