  • Year: 1956
  • Make: Chevrolet
  • Model: 150/210/Bel Air

This 1956 Bel Air has had a frame off restoration with the utmost attention to deal. The car features high end components, beautiful body work, and an excellent user experience.

This show winner started as a bare metal re-finish with expert reassembly throughout. The bodywork on the car is dead-on-straight and all of the trim and glass are brand new. The paint on the Chevy is two stage DuPont Spectra with a nice hint of pearl in the white tone. It was applied by the pros and has been wet sanded to perfection. The interior is a brand new mild custom job that features power windows, power seats, and ice cold Vintage Air. The gauges have been swapped out for a nice Dakota digital unit and there is more of that gorgeous red paint across the dash. The trunk was built to match the interior and houses the relocated battery and a built-in trickle charger.

The motor is 350 crate engine with 350 HP and a 4 bolt main. It was professionally built by a local speed shop and features a Crower cam, Zollner flat top pistons, GM ported and polished heads and a stock GM HO crank. The motor is a smooth runner with nice pickup and cool running temps.

The suspension has a lot of trick parts from CPP including tubular control arms, 2" drop spindles, QA1 shocks, CPP power steering, and all new poly bushings. Out back is a 12 bolt posi unit with 333 gears and a Art Morrison staggered 4-link. Strange coilovers handle the bumps and 12" CCP brakes round out the package. The wheels are Boyd 17×7 Crown Jewels in the front and 18×9 in the rear. The tires are a sweet set of modern radials: Hankook 215/50zr17 in front and 255/45zr18 in the rear. The entire suspension and brake package is nicely balanced and sharp.

The quality is evident and the parts are top notch. What’s holding you back on buying this awesome cruiser?
