This 1956 Ford F-100 Big Window is finished in stunning black over a custom grey interior. It received a full frame off restoration in 2007 and has been driven just under 2000 miles since the restoration was completed.

The truck benefits from a number of tastefully executed body modifications. During the restoration the body was stripped down to bare metal and the cowl and side vents were removed and smoothed. The door corners have been rounded and the cab seams were filled and smoothed. The original hood was replaced with a very trick reverse tilt unit that fits great and is easy to use. It has all stainless hardware and dual hood prop rods. The headlights have been replaced with much brighter Halogen bulbs and you may recognize the rear tail lights from a 1950 Mercury. Take note of the 3rd brake light that has been molded into the cab above the rear window – very trick. The running boards were smoothed and have been powdercoated for durability. Gone are the the bed stake holes and the bed rail ends have the recognizable tear drop shape. A custom rear roll pan was fitted and is complete with a recessed license plate light. The bed features all new red oak and bright and shiny stainless hardware. A set of new rear wheel wells feature larger tubs to allow for a wider rear tire fitment. The gas tank has been removed from the cab and now sits out back. It is stainless steel and has a 21 gallon capacity.

Power comes via a 1995 Chevy LT-1 engine with less than 8,00 miles. It has been mounted lower and further back in the engine compartment and the firewall was smoothed and boxed around the rear of the motor. The engine is stock except for ported and polished heads for much better flow. The transmission is the 4L-60E which was the original mate for the motor and provides flexible overdrive capabilities. Out back is a 3.73 Positrac differential and linking everything together is a custom driveshaft.

The interior features plenty of creature comforts to go around. The truck is equipped with power windows and also has power door locks. The hidden wipers are from Specialty Power and the motor is mounted in the kick panel. The stereo system has an Alpine head unit, four Polk speakers and two Polk 10" subwoofers mounted behind the seats. It really rocks the small interior of this pick up! The cab has been insulated with Dynamat which keeps down the rattles and keeps out the heat. The digital instrument cluster is from Dakota Digital and provides accurate readings out on the road. Keeping things nice and cool in the summertime is a Vintage AC system with easy to access controls. The interior has been finished in Ultra Leather and has custom interior panels and a custom headliner.

These big windows are hard to find and this one is loaded with options and priced to sell.
