This 1979 Ford F250 has been treated to a full frame off restoration by a dedicated Ford enthusiast. The Gray and Blue color scheme is subtle and easy on the eyes as is the highly detailed undercarriage, engine compartment, and crisp new interior. It’s rare to see a restoration this nice paired with one of these trucks and the results are awesome.
Built to drive and use, the Ford makes it happen around town, on the highway or simply as an awesome weekend cruiser. The power plant is a potent 514 CI Ford coupled with a C6 transmission and a Dana rear end. It’s so clean, we would be hesitant to get her dirty but if you want, you can put the truck in four wheel drive and turn it into the nicest mudder on the planet. This bulletproof drivetrain is ready for just about anything you want to throw at it and comes set up with heavy duty radiator, electronic ignition, Weiand intake, 1050 CFM Holley and it even runs an AC system to boot.
The body is mint as a result of the frame off restoration that was performed. She is laser straight and has an excellent hand finished paint job that really pops. Both colors have a very light metallic flake that really shimmer in the sunlight. The body has all new plastic lenses, trim, chrome, and the frame which was completely stripped down has a nice coat of shiny black paint. All the brake and suspension components have been restored and the truck drives out extra smooth. Equipped with power front disc brakes, the truck stops on a dime. The wheels are 18" and are mounted to 37" Toyo tires that drive well on standard pavement.
The interior is completely new and has rebuilt seats with new padding and covers. The door panels have been replaced as has the carpeting and the dash pad as well. The gauge cluster has even been gone through looks like it did when it rolled off the lot. All of the interior hard parts like the window cranks and handles are new and the steering wheel is a high quality original piece.
We are not sure what’s not to like and the quality and pretty ridiculous to say the least. Jump on it while you have the chance.
