Finished in Signet Red over a Red interior with a White top, this 1958 Chevy Corvette 2×4 has just 78 miles on an absolutely spectacular frame-off rotisserie restoration where the car was brought back to like-new condition. Since the restoration, the car has been stored as a museum piece in a climate controlled garage and has been very rarely driven.
Every cosmetic components on the Corvette has either been replaced or restored to show condition. All interior components are new including the carpeting, door panels, crash pad, seat covers, seat belts and the convertible top. All hard components have either been rebuilt or replaced including all of the handles, knobs, switches and other controls. The chrome is stunning triple plate stuff and has great depth and shine. All of the stainless trim has been restored and polished of course all of the rubber seals are new.
The 283 CI 245HP engine, automatic transmission and positraction rear end have been completely gone through and rebuilt. The engine is the correct motor for the car however, it not numbers matching. It has the correct intake, heads, exhaust manifolds and carburetors. The engine compartment is accurately restored and detailed with the correct colors, wiring, hoses and hardware.
During the restoration, the frame was stripped down to bare metal and received a new coat of semi gloss black paint. Likewise, all of the suspension and brake components were rebuilt from front to back including all new hardware, and lines.
