If we caught you looking, it’s no surprise. You may have been pulled in by the smooth lines, dropped stance, wheel and tire combination, or maybe it was the glistening Torch Red paint. When you put some talented truck guys together with achieving "the look" in mind, you get the kind of results we see on this gorgeous 1983 Chevy C10.

The Torch red chassis of the C10 sports a number a tasty modifications that not only look good in their place on the Chevy, but collectively build the overall character of the truck. Up front a pair of Thornbeck Brothers tubular control arms grab hold of the Belltech 2" dropped spindles, and controlling the height of the ride are 4 Dominator air bags matched to a set of KYB gas filled shocks. In between the front frame rails, a custom crossmember was installed to allow the truck to lay all the way down on the pavement. In the rear of the truck, the frame rails were step notched to give the truck maximum suspension travel throughout the range. The rear end has been narrowed and is held steady by a Ektensive 2-link set up and panhard bar. Completing the Chevy’s smooth and low look are is a set of Centerline Cali Smoothies sized 22×8 in the front and 22×10 in the rear.

Powering the Chevy is a 1997 Vortec 5.7 liter engine with an Edelbrock Performer Intake, and Edelbrock 650 Carb. Providing a sizable spark is an GM HEI system which gets a nice charge from dual Optima Yellowtop Batteries. A set of Hedman Ceramic coated headers give the engine ample room to exhale to a 2.5" exhaust sporting Flowmaster mufflers. Providing smooth overdrive action, is a 700R4 transmission which sends power to the rear end. Cruising 80 on the highway is no problem at suspension heights that look almost impossibly low!

The body was a labor of love with custom work that includes shaved and filled door handles, shaved side marker lights, and filled bed stake pockets. Let’s not forget the custom bed work which allows the Chevy to ride as low as it does. The body is a laid out work of art and the hand finished paint looks incredible. There are 3 coats of the Torch Red paint buried underneath multiple layers of clear coat finish. All the work was definitely worth the end results. The look is killer.

The custom interior includes a bench seat the was covered in tan leather with tan suede vertical tuck and roll panels. The dash has been wrapped in tan leather as well and was finished with a set of Dolphin gauges. The steering wheel is a Billet Specialties piece, and the headliner has a some black and tan pinstripe action. Pumping up the tunes is a Sony head unit driven by a Polk Audio PA D1000-1 amp. PA D2000 amps drive the component speakers and two Polk subwoofers boost the bass.

If you’re looking for a truck that seriously turns heads, don’t miss out on this great C10.
