This 1965 Ford F250 is a complete frame off rotisserie restoration performed on an awesome California truck. The truck has a full air ride suspension, detailed custom interior, a decked out bed, and an incredible 427 big block with a killer factory Tri-power set up.
During the restoration, the body of the truck came completely off the frame and both were media blasted down to bare metal. The body was finished in a tan on tan base coat clear coat paint job that looks awesome and you could eat off the undercarriage. The truck was completely reassembled with detail down to the last nut and bolt and the result is amazing. The truck has all new rubber throughout and all new seals. The interior is comprised of all custom panels and custom seat covers to boot. The dash gauges are new custom units and the controls for the air ride are located under the dash within easy reach of the driver.
The engine is a fresh build of a factory 427 FE engine. The truck has a very rare tri-power setup with factory aluminum intake and a set of Edelbrock Performer heads. This thing goes like hell on wheels with this engine, and it really lays down the power. The truck has a set of custom headers and a custom-built dual exhaust with electric dumps. The transmission is a performance built C6 and the Ford has a Gear Vendors overdrive so cruising long distances on the highway is a breeze. To engage the overdrive, just click the button on the floor the truck and you are ready to cruise.
The frame has been finished in gloss black and has been kitted out with all new suspension and brake components. The F250 has very responsive brakes courtesy of the huge front power brake set up, and the truck is a breeze to drive with the easygoing power steering. All the lines and hoses on the truck are new and tidy and she is ready for cruising. The Ford rolls on 20" wheels with modern radial tires and the suspension system uses dual ViAir pumps with dual polished tanks. Have a look inside the bed and the set up is pretty sweet!
