Since its inception, the Aston Martin Vantage V8 has received numerous accolades from the press, some of which include Automobile Magazine’s "2007 All Stars," for performance, road manners and design, and Jeremy Clarkson called it the Best Looking and Best Sounding car for ’07.
Finished in Meteorite Silver over a Kestrel Tan interior, this 2007 Aston Martin has traveled just 24,905 miles since new. Thus far, it has had just three owners, all of whom have had the car serviced by Aston Martin. The Vantage was originally solid at Aston Martin of Tysons Corner in Vienna, Virginia. Three years later the car was traded back in and the original dealer then sold it to the second owner in July of 2010. The car was then sold by Fox Motorsports in Chicago to the third owner who has serviced it at the Aston dealership in St. Louis. All of the service work to date is attached at the end of the ad.
Hand assembled at the Aston Martin factory in Germany, the 4.3 litre V8 produces a stout 380 HP. Although the motor was loosely based on the Jaguar AJ-V8, it’s really a completely different motor featuring a race-style dry sump system which allowed the manufacturer to lower the center of gravity in the car significantly. The overall effect was a 49/51 weight distribution that feels wonderful in the hands of an enthusiast. The cylinder block, heads, crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons, cams and engine management are all Aston Martin as well. Combined with the 6-Speed sequential manual gear box, the car can hit 60 MPH in less than 5 seconds. Performance aside, the Vantage V8 has wonderful road manners and constitutes a proper Grand Touring car. This car has the optional dealer installed power upgrade which was seen on the factory N400 cars giving the car 400 HP and 420 ft lbs.
