Finished in Burgundy over a black interior, this 1967 Chevy C10 is a complete rotisserie restoration with just over 1300 miles on the clock. It has power, reliability, and it’s show quality throughout.
Cosmetically, the truck has all new glass, all new rubber and all new trim throughout. While the body was off the frame, the frame was blasted and refinished and the C10 received a fresh set of body bushings. The frame was resprayed in gloss black and all the components that went back on have a high-end finish. The C10 has very straight panels and excellent bodywork as the base for a show quality 2 stage paint job. The bed is drop dead gorgeous with the oak slats and pristine stainless hardware and it’s pretty obvious that nothing has gone for a ride in the back yet.
The suspension was completely rebuilt from front to rear and has all new bushings, springs, shocks, tie rods, ball joints and new sway bars. It now sits on a 2/4 drop on McGaughys springs and has a nice, smooth ride. All the brakes are new as well with power disc brakes up front and drums out back. The C10 is easy to stop and the power booster makes it effortless. The truck uses a Gen 2 power steering pump from the serpentine system which powers a rebuilt factory gearbox.
The motor is an LS running Doug Thorley long tube headers. It makes great power and runs through a 4L60 overdrive transmission and a 12 bolt rear with 3.73 posi gears.
The interior is a mild custom with Classic Instruments Gauges and a Vintage Air system to keep you and your passengers nice and cool. The Vintage Air components use a set of close to stock appearing controls to keep the interior looking nice and retro. Under all the carpeting and behind the dash, the truck has Dynamat throughout and the split bench seat is very comfortable for longer trips. 3 point seatbelts are in place for safety, and the column tilts for your convenience. All interior paint matches the brilliant sheen of the exterior of the truck, and you’ll find that all of the shiny hard parts are new.
For the truck enthusiast looking for a nice resto-mod, you’ll get a lot of use out of this tastefully modified classic.
