This awesome 1928 Ford Model A is a great driving hot rod with a ton a great parts and a killer look.
The chassis features a Pete and Jakes front end with triangulated rear end. This setup uses a precise feeling Unisteer rack. For brakes, you’ll find Wilwood rotors inside Buick fin drums on the front and regular drums on the rear. The body itself is channeled 3” and the top is chopped 6”. The roof has been filled, and the rear taillights are Pontiac units. The grill shell is the factory set up and houses an aluminum radiator.
The motor is a 330 HP 454 marine engine hooked to a 700 R4 overdrive tranny. The rear end is a 10 bolt 2nd gen Camaro unit. The motor uses a Weiand intake, MSD distributor, MSD ignition and a Mallory fuel system with a series 140 pump. The carb is a Holley and exhaust flows through a set of ceramic coated headers and custom pipes.
The interior has custom seats, carpeting, and uses all Stewart Warner gauges. The steering wheel is removable for easier egress and the battery is a rear-mounted Optima.
