Finished in Ermine White over a white and red interior, this 1961 Impala bubbletop is the recipient of a frame-off restoration. The car was an original resident of both New Mexico and Arizona and has solid desert bones.
The bare metal refinish of the body including stripping the undercarriage and frame to bare metal. The car has straight panels and a nice, color sanded finish. The original trim fits the car properly, and new chrome bumpers adorn the front and rear. You’ll find more of that super clean Ermine White underneath and the trunk has been finished in the factory GM splatter finish.
While the car was off the frame, the suspension and brakes were rebuilt with new components and the car sits at a factory ride height and has a stock feel. It’s very easy to drive with the power steering and power brake set up and is a competent cruiser.
The interior of the Chevrolet has been completely restored and features all-new soft parts and new paint throughout. The original gauges work correctly, the Vintage Air system will keep you nice and cool in the hottest weather.
