This rotisserie restored 1962 Impala SS is an excellent cruiser with a healthy dose of horsepower, a great stance, AC, disc brakes, and a nicely upgraded suspension. The restoration is 6 years old and the car is in great condition.
The exterior features a two-stage paint job, all new glass, restored stainless, and all new chrome. The engine compartment is nicely detailed, and the undercarriage was refinished in a factory primer red hue. The car has new seals throughout and all new bushings.
The interior features new soft parts, including the seats, door panels, carpeting, and headliner. The interior is also equipped with Dakota Digital gauges, bucket seats, center console and ice cold air conditioning for the summertime.
Under the hood is a ripping 383 that makes an advertised 486 HP and 465 lbs/ft. It was built using a new Chevy 4 bolt main block, AFR heads, Holley carb, forged pistons, forged rods, a Crane cam, stainless roller rockers, and more. The exhaust passes through a set of coated headers and a nice dual exhaust system. The trans is a Muncie 4 speed and the rear end has posi gears.
