This 1966 Corvette has a complete frame off restoration along with some high-end pro-touring upgrades. If you’re in the market for a fun ride, this Vette is very quick and an absolute blast to drive.
The body has a deep, base/clear finish and has been sanded and buffed to a high-quality finish. The glass is in excellent condition, and all of the rubber on the body has been replaced. The frame was refinished while the body was off and the undercarriage on the car is clean and restored. The interior features all-new soft parts, rebuilt gauges, and new trim pieces as well.
This Chevy rides like it’s on rails and it’s not by accident. The all-new RideTech suspension consists of front upper and lower control arms, tall spindles, billet steering arms, inner & outer tie rods, front MuscleBar, rear trailing arms and 4, HQ Series CoilOvers on every corner. It serves up razor-sharp handling and greatly improved geometry overstock. The Corvette has Wilwood brakes on all 4 corners and a Wilwood master in the engine compartment. The car rides on a set of Billet Specialties wheels which in combination with the RideTech components, give it a mean stance.
Powered by a brand new 502 HO, this Corvette pumps out 558 ft/lbs of torque and 461 HP. The 502HP is constructed with a forged rotating assembly for exceptional strength on the street. These engines produce 500 ft/lbs of torque at just 1750 RPM giving it the torque to effortlessly rip off the line. The engine is running on the Holley Sniper fuel injection system which is a breeze for cold starts, reliable driving, and consistent power and performance. The transmission is a TKO 600 with an SST clutch. It’s nice and crisp, without any of that old school slop. Keeping things cool is a very efficient C&R radiator that was custom built for the car. It keeps coolant temps right around 185 to 190 in the summer. Not bad for a big block in a Vette!
If you are in the market for a Pro-Touring car, this Vette has all the eyeball, and the performance to back it up.
