This beautifully restored Lincoln was a lifelong California vehicle with just over 57,000 original miles.
The car underwent a restoration which included a bare-metal refinish, all-new bodywork, and an excellent paint job. The body on the Lincoln is exceptionally straight down the sides and is free from unsightly rust repairs. During the restoration, all of the stainless trim was restored and the chrome was refinished as well. The rubber trim has been replaced, and the glass is in very nice original condition. The blacktop is new, and looks sharp!
With the exception of the carpeting, the interior is mint and all original. The leather seats have been beautifully preserved, the door panels and dash are free from sun damage and the headliner is in very good condition. Open the trunk and you’ll find more high-quality detail/restoration work. The climate control system works properly, the power antennae are in good working condition, and the radio works as well. The car has power windows that are all properly aligned and go up and down effortlessly.
Power comes from a rebuilt 462 CI, 340 HP engine running through an automatic transmission. The engine sits in a pristine condition engine compartment and the car has power steering, power brakes, and air conditioning.
It’s very hard to find well-preserved cars. The combination of excellent original condition and high-quality refinish work make this Lincoln a gem of a collectible and a very choice driver.
