Finished in Polar White over a Blue interior, this 1970 Trans Am underwent a complete rotisserie restoration using NOS parts where available. The car has just 500 miles on the restoration and is presented in show condition. There were only 3,108 Ram Air III cars built in 1970, and only 1,769 were equipped with the 4- speed transmission.
The Trans Am features a rebuilt drivetrain which has the WS coded RAM Air III engine(no serial number stamp). The engine was built with a RAM Air IV cam and runs very strong! The rebuilt Muncie M20 has the correct Hurst shifter and is connected to a COV code (3.33 gears) 12 bolt rear end.
The car features a bare-metal refinish to a body that looks to have all of its original sheet metal. Panel fit is excellent and the body is very straight. The paint has been properly sanded out and has a high polish. The undercarriage has the original floorboards and was properly refinished. The glass, trim, and chrome are all in very good condition, and all of the rubber on the car was replaced during the restoration. Pop open the door and you’ll find an immaculate interior with all new soft parts, restored gauges, console, AM/FM radio with 8 track, and very rare AC option.
